Certification

        The State Enterprise "Kharkiv regional scientific and production centre of standardization, metrology and certification" (SE "Kharkivstandardmetrologiya") is one of the Ukraine leaders in the area of certification of products, control systems and rendering engineering and inspection services.

        SE "Kharkivstandardmetrologiya" has many years' experience and competent staff that enables to conduct specified activities at high professional level.

CERTIFICATION OF PRODUCTS

        SE "Kharkivstandardmetrologiya" is authorized (license № UA.P.007) to carry out certification of 46 groups of similar products, including:

1. Electrical household appliances, radio electronic hardware and lighting fixtures;
2. Technological, metal-working, woodworking, welding equipment;
3. Electrical machines, electrical and electronic equipment;
4. Construction materials, metallurgy products, pipes and cylinders;
5. Goods of light industry (clothes, footwear, fabrics, fur, thread etc.);
6. Foodstuffs and feed stock;
7. Perfumery and cosmetics goods and detergents;
8. Medical equipment, means of personal protection of employees.

CERTIFICATION OF CONTROL SYSTEMS

        SE "Kharkivstandardmetrologiya" is authorized (license № UA.MQ.003) to carry out certification of control systems for compliance with international standards:

1. ISO 9001 (Quality);
2. ISO 14001 (Ecology);
3. OHSAS 18001 (Safety of labour and occupational hygiene);
4. ISO 22000 (Food safety).

TECHNICAL AND INSPECTION VERIFICATION OF PROCESSES, PRODUCTS AND SERVICE QUALITY

        Inspection services of SE "Kharkivstandardmetrologiya" provide independent evaluation of product quality, state of supplier’s production, his quality assurance system etc.

        As a rule, inspection activities are focused on specific Customer’s assignment as to products, processes, control systems or even on evaluation of Supplier’s facilities and capacity.

        Depending on Customer’s requirements audit and evaluation of various aspects of Supplier’s activities are done, including the following:

1. Verification of special processes;
2. Control and testing of products;
3. Confirmation of obtained measurement and test results;
4. Quality and quantity control of manufactured products;
5. Evaluation of Supplier’s formal management system for compliance with accepted national and international standards (e.g. , ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001);
6. Notification about the course of Supplier’s execution of the assignment.

        The audit is done to verify that the systems, processes and procedures are defined, formalized and are under control, and their conformity to requirements and efficiency are periodically assessed.
        The audit can be carried out in the form of supervision before negotiating a contract in order to assess if the Supplier’s facilities, capacities and personnel qualification can meet specific requirements.

PRODUCT TESTING

        SE "Kharkivstandardmetrologiya" has testing laboratories accredited by the National Agency of Ukraine in accreditation for compliance with ISO 17025 requirements that can afford testing the following groups of similar products:

1. Electrical household appliances, radio electronic hardware, hand electromechanical tools with an electric motor;
2. Technological, metal-working, woodworking, welding equipment;
3. Electrical machines, electrical and electronic equipment;
4. Engines of tractors and agricultural machines;
5. Construction materials and structures;
6. Goods of light industry – men, ladies and children’s footwear (including sports, rubber, protection, special footwear), leather products, fabrics and textile products, linens and knitted wear, work wear and others;
7. Food stuffs and feed stock;
8. Perfumery and cosmetics goods, detergents and household chemicals;
9. Glass, china and pottery, ceramics and polymer wear.
